Strathford Park was founded by Kirsten & Cameron
Strath in 2001 with intentions of breeding Arabian
Derivatives of open company quality. The studs
influences stem from Kirsten's background in her
families horses of Arabian heritage.
We have a small band of mares including welsh,
thoroughbred & riding pony breeding and use our resident
sire & outside stallions to breed the quality foals we
have to date.
Kirsten started in horses as an 8 year old and purchased
the pure Arabian mare Talisman Alena as her first horse.
Alena was an introduction to the Arabian market and show
world and carried Kirsten to multiple champions and supremes in hand, under saddle, in open company and
youth events before being retired. She is now 25 years
old.
Kirsten has lived in the Hawkesbury area for over 10
years and can offer over 20 years of training knowledge
and 15 years of breaking expertise.
She has trained in
and shown in all fields of competition including
showing, dressage, western and stock work. She has
worked with eventer's , race horses and endurance horses and
has worked with every breed of horse there is. |
